Workout: recovery 4mi.
It had been quite some time since Alex and I enjoyed the Mount Vernon Trail together, so "we" decided to get out there in the morning for this easy run. On the way back we were joined by another runner, who paced along side of us as we chatted. Having been drilled with the need to rest and run recovery workouts accordingly, we were moving at an extremely slow pace--probably around 9 min/mi. I didn't have the heart to tell him that we were intentionally plodding along like circus elephants.
