Quote of the Week

From UNC linebacker Durell Mapp (the guy who hit Brady Quinn late out of bounds):

"Brady Quinn is a good quarterback, but they really aren't different from what we see from week to week. Actually, they are slower than most teams in the ACC. However, they do run a precise offense."

Really? That's kind of funny, because I sure didn't see any of you catching up with Samardzija. Or Zbikowski. Or Carlson, except when he rolled over you for a TD. Or Quinn, unless he was out of bounds and your team ended up with two personal fouls.

ND 45, UNC 26. Victory is sweet. Now, if our defense could cover a deep receiver a little better, I'd feel just a little bit better.

Apparently when every team in Division 1A is running circles around you, speed is relative.
