The Best Game They Ever Lost

Tom Zbikowski That about sums up what many will regard for years to come as one of the best games in the history of Notre Dame Stadium, if not the annals of the program. Too often a game with this much hype and media attention falls flat and comes well short of expectations. Today was not one of those days.

This game had it all--the pre-game build up, the overanalyzed story lines, collegiate stats monsters, and multiple intangibles...and that was all before kickoff!
