Why Philadelphia Will Never Be Considered A Real Sports Town

As if anyone needed more reasoning, this is why Philadelphia will NEVER be considered a real sports city of any kind.

While on vacation I caught the Sunday morning TV broadcast on NBC Ch.10 out of Philadephia. The sports segment included the following, and only the following:
1. Tailgating story for the Eagles home opener;
2. Recap of Flyers pre-season game;
3. Recap of Phillies game; and
4. College football highlights from Saturday, limited to Villanova, Temple, and Penn.

Wow.
