It looks like he has accepted the job. Can you blame him? I mean, he asked his dad which job to take and his dad said "Go South, young man." Seriously, there are too many obstacles to success for almost anyone short of a young Lou Holtz in South Bend right now.
I'd like to know if ND actually offered the job to Urban Meyer. Most reports I've seen simply say that they talked w/him, no?
If he did turn them down then, yes, rewind to January 2002: ND faced with their second choice. Again. This time, though, it's three and out (or less) for Kevin White.
